Bear with me!

Updated: Apr 3, 2021

As I learn how to use this program. Yes I know my posts aren't all in the same area. Still figuring that out.

Apart from sharing my love of food, I also want to share things and places I enjoy or Mar approved ;)

Couple years ago, I invested in Montague's Bicycles. Yes, this is one of the first things I'll recommend because I think they are great bikes! And I love taking them to ride on camp trips. But I don't think there's a ton of people that know about them.

I am not a strong cyclist but wanted a bike to explore and to travel between my house and my friend Katherine's, esp after some drinks! I knew I wanted to take them around to places so I had to find a way to travel with them. I knew I did not trust myself to attach a bicycle onto my car without the fear of having to fall off. I did not want to purchase a trunk rack and risk scratching my car. I did not have a hitch and so a hitch bike rack was out of the question. I rather invest in a better bike than to have to invest on racks and a hitch to put them on. I wanted them to fit into my hatchback so I started researching on foldable bikes.

I was SO excited when I came across the Montague Bicycles and even more excited to find a shop that carries them.

This is the Montague Urban, yes it was an investment, but I saved on the racks, with full sized wheels, lots of speed choices and even comes with a nifty rear rack (that also functions as a bike stand)! The full size bike means that you can attach most normal bike accessories and modify the bike as well. I have made added some accessories and modified with a kickstand, bottle holder, and an adjustable stem. Yes, they are urban bikes so the wheels are rather thin.... and for roads.... however... definitely been to rougher trails and I mean, they have taken it well... lol.

And it folds up and yes I was able to fit 2 Montague Urbans into my Mazda hatchback!

If you are looking for a video review, this is a pretty good recent one! (yes attempting to learn to add a video while at it!)

If you are interested, Joe from Beagle Bicycle in Mississauga is awesome!
