What is nooch? It's short for nutritional yeast!
While I don't know the chemistry or microbiology behind it, but basically it is a deactivated form of yeast, that taste like cheese.
Yes, cheese! A commonly used for vegan diets in place of cheese, andddd it's gluten free (I suggest to double check the label though).
Neat thing is that they pack a lot of different nutrients such as protein, dietary fiber, B vitamins (if fortified) and minerals such as zinc, magnesium and copper.
I get mine off of amazon, though my go-to brand Anthony's is currently out of stock. I will be trying the Bob's Red Mill's since I just finished my last bit of Anthony's.
I sprinkle mine on pastas, stir it into soups, the possibilities are endless!
